Probably still a bit early but just wondering if anyone knows the proposed date for the SA state titles next year? Would a week after the ADKC “classic” be too much to ask?

clipsal, classic and the titles would make a good excuse to make the trip over and spend two weeks. Heres to wishful thinking

I heard from a mate that the trophies for the classic are going to be huge he said over 90cm. I hope they have them on display before the end of the year in the club rooms or at least post them on the ADKC site so people (including you guys from WA)know what we will be racing for, as I am interested to see as no one has done a meeting like this before in karts. Well in SA they haven't, I will be hopeing aswell for the first two

If only they could move the titles (Anyone know the date?) that would make travel from NT so much easier.

The rule came in that you can now race on Friday now and as Angas dont have lights they probably will run a round on Friday. I cant see the big deal as most people are already there.

The prospectus is due out soon. The decision to run one round of heats on Friday is still being debated by the committee.

A bit of an update for those who are interested
Countless hours of hard work have been volunteered during the off season. Nearly every weekend for some of our dedicated members. The track maintenance team have added new surface and spent many weekends blending the new with the old. The kitchen upgrade is almost complete and looking terrific. The "slippery when wet" ramps to the overpass into the pits have been replaced with steps, making it much safer. Paving of the entrance to the canteen is underway. Plenty of paint has been splashed around the buildings giving a nice fresh feel. These are just a few things that you may notice next time you visit your club. There are also plenty of other tasks underway by our dedicated state titles committee that tend to go un noticed. Securing sponsorship for the Titles and the full season requires a lot of extra effort and has been very rewarding. All the event planning is well and truly underway and the wheels are turning. From the release of the prospectus to the presentation dinner, every thing is going exceptionally well.
I hope to see as many members as possible at the working bee planned for the weekend of the 5th and 6th of March.

Heaps devo that we didn't get finals, hopefully the new surface holds up. Would be shocking if the title track is that bad.
Oh well next meeting should be better.
