Just read on the Angas site that they have extended their presentation shed... May I ask why? Are you planning on having the State Title presentation at the Angas club? Also what is happening to the track? This year it has been... well not as good as last. To tell you the truth it has been shocking!!! Also for the state titles are you going to have flaggies because the lights in the middle of the track are useless as no body can see them people could get injured.
On a brigter note, looking forward to racing up there this weekend if is doesn't rain and also if it does please let us (the karters) know before hand that you are going to race the bowl. After travelling all the way up there last meeting only to find that we were running the bowl and some people already knew really PISSED me off. If you are going to run the bowl run it, keep people informed about what is happening in regard to racing on the day.
Thanks

Just stay at home , that way you can do nothing & just whine that you are bored . The direction by the club to start the meeting off on the bowl track was made Sunday morning not Sat .

I'm not sure how you can run the bowl if it hasn't been approved by AIDKA for racing and only approved for forming up?

You can't run the bowl if it has not been approved. Also the main point is that you don't tell people that you are going to do it before the meeting. It is simple if it is wet tell us on tour site that you are going to run the bowl. It is very unsafe... How come people said last meeting that it was wet on Saturday and they were always going to run the bowl?

Lets think this one thru . If it rains on Sat yes the water falls on the track . If the track is too wet beyond saving anything for Sunday, the meeting is called off on Sat. If its not known , cause it depends on what happens overnight then its Sunday morning when the club decides wether to call it off. At that point in time it may be considered to call off or run the bowl. Same as all clubs , you get there & the club's volunteers do their best to provide you a track to race on., & everyone hopes its windy & rain has passed. Sorry Angas club cant provide you with a soil report , a rain gauge reading , a moisture reading , wind direction & knotts & a humidity report so you can decide for them wether to come racing, while you sit there complaining. Off coarse the track is approved bowl or not its only been there for 45 years .

"If the track is too wet beyond saving anything for Sunday, the meeting is called off on Sat." How can we trust you guys with that last meeting I apparently poured on Saturday and why didn't you call the meeting off. Also why run the bowl when it is not your real track....... that is why people hate it. In my opinion I can see both the club and the racers have really good points. Why not just tell the karters before hand if you plan on running the bowl.. Its not that hard, this weekend it is bound to be rain on Friday and Saturday.
"Off coarse the track is approved bowl or not its only been there for 45 years" who cares how long it has been their that part of the track is really unsafe. Wheres the runoff before the tyres?? It has for some reason disappeared around the Angas track..... I will be there but please try to look as though you are keeping the karting public informed from where I sit it looks as though from last meeting you wait until everybody has nominated then decide to run the bowl... you were grading the track for the bowl in the morning... From where I come from it looks like you are just trying to take our money..
Would you run the title as a bowl? I don't think so.... So why do you chose to run it at normal meetings. YPDKC do it as they have special speedway meeting or due to lack of numbers in some cases. The question is why do you use it.... Do you just want to get money or something. It's not like you lease the land..
"Sorry Angas club cant provide you with a soil report , a rain gauge reading , a moisture reading , wind direction & knotts & a humidity report so you can decide for them wether to come racing, while you sit there complaining." No need to be sarcastic. The karting public knows that it might rain as karting is a winter sport. We complain as it is not safe and why run a track that you will not race on for a title it is pointless.
Use the bowl but dont abuse it!!

Just tell us (the karters) before we pay our nominations whether you are running the bowl so we can pack up our karts and go home.

There was a small band of workers at Angas today to get the track up to scratch for tomorrow's 125 Trophy meeting. Yes we have had rain and that means the track is wet but fortunately the dog leg is in better condition than the oval/bowl. As long as the weather doesn't change we will be racing as scheduled, so hope to see you at the track
