Are you still running under AIDKA? Or are you now leaning towards the speedway association. Also what's been happening???

Why would a club that has affiliated with AIDKA and is in the process of getting their track and facilities ready be leaning towards a different association?
Interested to know what compelled you to ask that question.

I heard from some speedway guys they could have just been talking %#$! but they seemed to think it was because of the clutch rule. But they are from SA so don't know how they would have found this out. I reackon that's what prompted the question.

You will find in another post in this forum concerning Kambalda I asked for photo's and a WA guy brought it up there that that was the direction Kambalda was taking with SKAA. John you might want to take it up with the guy who lodged the post. I have not heard different and the Kambalda delegate is included on the list for next fridays AIDKA National Council meeting.

Thanks for the responses.
Like you have indicated it is probably somebody making uneducated comments and started the rumor mongering.
I am looking forward to hearing that Kambalda are all ready for their first official event.
If somebody from Kambalda is still reviewing this site it would be great to get the occasional update on your progress.

There is a soil contamination problem which has been dumped on the club for cleanup from a previous operator. There is a possibility they maybe shifting site according to a report at executive meeting. Doesn't look like racing for some time

Pity it looked like they would have already had some good infrastructure from the previous aerial pictures.
I can imagine that trying to clean up soil contamination depending on the extent would be a very expensive exercise.
Good luck with the cleanup or locating a new site whichever direction you take.

Does anybody know if Kambalda are still trying to get up and running as part of AIDKA or any other organisation?

Does anybody have any progress reports on Kambalda? Did they manage to clean up the original site or find a new site? Are they still members of AIDKA or at least running as a local entity?
