Thats fair enough. So the email on the Adelaide website is the right one as the one in the log book is different.

Urgent Update:
Due to the error in the email address for nominations we are asking people who have nominated by email to check whether your email has been returned (rejected). If your email was rejected, please forward the original email (to verify date and time) to Nancy at carusoclans@baonline.com.au. This will ensure that you are entered into the Quick Grid system for Sunday's race meeting.
This is happening for this week only as there was a typo in the email. All nominations for future meetings are to be sent to Matt. (ttho1448@bigpond.net.au).
Thanks

Lucky for me, I just came to watch. Not that I missed anything track look great at the start of the day and then the rained ruined it. It is still raining at Virginia I am happy they called off the meeting as there was no way you were racing on that track.
Also saw the most bizarre thing in the 125cc Heavy race. Tom (think same on this website) won the first race. WELL DONE in the second I think coming into the last lap he lost his chain but he still managed to be pushed all the way around the track and take home third......... You would have thought the person pushing him would have realized he had his hand up saying his chain was broken.

Yes, shame about the rain!
And yep that was me in the 125cc Heavies..
I had a decent lead in the 2nd heat as well and then the reed block came loose. I could hear the change in engine note and thought it was a loose header. I reached down to richen it up and felt the carby loose but couldn't really hold it on properly.
The chain was still on but it only had power when i held the carby in the right spot. I thought i could drive around the inside and get home, but others thought they wanted to have the inside line also and i got a push around the last corner and over the line.. Was a bit of a crazy moment there.
Will dismantle the engine tomorrow and am praying the motor hasn't ingested a heap of dirt.
The track seemed really good with the new banking, shame it was sloppy with rain so it was hard to get a good read if we will be able to run 2 wide around the corners.
Bring on the next meeting!!

I think you just might get 2 wide giving people give you room to run around the top. I saw somebody today run up top around the canteen corner with somebody on the bottom they were even coming onto the straight and then he had the inside line next corner. He passed somebody by using the top, that was I think the second race. By the time I got out there it was too wet. When track is dry I think it will be a lot faster than before and should lead to some great moves providing people give you some room to run up top.
Track was a lot better than last year it was just a pity about the rain.

Atleast they called it early there was no way you were racing with the rain. The rain stopped at home (Virginia at about 5). Banking looked good as well as those new sponsor signs.

just wondering if someone can tell me where they got the new dirt from for the track changes? both after the practice day and yesterday the dirt has stained everything on my karts especially the engines and all the aluminium brackets have gone white like they are corroding.

They got the dirt from speedway city I am pritty sure, My kart too looked like that but if you wash them really good it does come off. I know use truck wash works a charm.
