Interesting photo , can you tell us where & when it was taken . What was the track & is it a special class ?? Good to see some ""Karting"" great work this time from racefan. Any more photos for us.
This stuff is good stuff & interesting for readers . Rubbish & slinging off does nothing positive.

Why would you want to run that stuff, no rubbing pods with that steel.

Let us know the site if you can , it takes a lot of time to search . Not sure if I would like to roll over in a kart that may have a lot of panels . Might behazardous if you had let go of the steering wheel & get you body caught under it , or if your kart was to land on someone else. Still some light weight materials like plastic or same material as side pods & it could be popular. Might need a bigger trailer.

Dirt karting in New Zealand - thats a good link . See it wasn't difficult , once we moved away from the slinging off, we are able to put some good DIRT Karting stuff on this website . It is off season , but if we can find time to write about things & make pictures, lets do it about karting & make it constructive. Tea time now , but hopefully more GOOD STUFF, will be on line another time I return. That would be a good link to add to this & Adelaides website.

The panels are made from CoreFlute Board the stuff for sale on houses are mostly made from. It is required to be sealed around the edges and the reason for CoreFlute Board is it will give in the event of an accident. Any speedway kart section can use body work. AKA Website has template styles. I can't see AIDKA allowing us to use it in the near future. I would be one of the first to put it if allowed gives a little bit more styling even if it doesn't do much else. SKAA work under AKA guidelines.

No outlaws only run a wing that has to be made a certain way , they run side pods though.

a lot of speedway kart's are using this cause if you have some one rub you and climb your tyre they dont run over you they deflect off, so you dont get run over and fliped as much etc they do help the kart a bit in handling, but must run them so they look like something and there a bit safer

The use of body work is optional, specs can be got AKA website SKAA. A lot of users feel they do help handling if designed and set up correctly. I would like to try it but under AIDKA rules can't have it and there is no speedway karting in SA at present

i think there running a few meetings at renmark combined with the mildura club too. yeah they do help but also kill a bit of top speed so its a balancing act. it depends on class too something like a 200cc open it helps a lot a kt standerd not a lot.

From what I understand no more are scheduled at Renmark for this season, disappointing really, there is the interest. The SA speedway kart championship had been mention to be at Renmark but nothing has been heard nor confirmed
