It should not be a case of having to go through your secretary for information updates. The rule change meeting was 27th of November 2009 as was the AGM. It is not acceptable to have to go from then until the 16th of January before any information is updated on the AIDKA website. The information pertaining to the AIDKA web site should have been handed over to the new executive at the change over on the 27th November, 2009. All the other bookwork was handed over then WHY NOT THIS?. The inpassing of information is something that needs discussing at the next meeting so this does not happen again. I know the there can be a lot of work involved in running an organisation such as AIDKA but it is part of the roles taken on by the incoming executive. It is difficult to organise a race plan and meet the incoming rule changes when you don't have them.

HI ROOKIE RACER, IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT RULES YOU WILL HAVE TO GO THROUGH YOUR CLUB SECRETARY, WHO WILL THEN CONTACT AIDKA If you were talking to me I am a little dissapointed that I have to go through my club secretary just to ask a question that I have been wanting to ask since December. Maybe next season when the rules are updated on time I wont have any questions to ask.

I beleive the calender has been updated on the AIDKA website now, all of those people who need to know where they can race and can't be bothered looking on this website or club websites should be happy now. For those of you that complain that you can't speak to the boss of AIDKA about a question that is why you have club secretaries and presidents to do this for you, i could not imagine the amount of phone calls the executive members would receive otherwise, and it also states on the website that you need to go through your club secretary for information. The rules have either been deleted, ammended or added, your club delegate should have passed all of this information on already so it would just be a matter of taking the appropriate thing and looking through the 2009 rule book to find out what has changed. Maybe instead of constantly bad mouthing the executive, although some of you insist on calling them AIDKA when in fact all clubs are AIDKA, you could find some constructive positive feedback to give them and give them a chance to step into their new roles which i am sure is not easy to do, if it was easy i am sure all of you people that complain would have put your hand up to do the job. Hey maybe you could even offer to help them, or maybe we should pay someone to do the job on a fulltime basis then they would be able to devote 24 hours a day 7 days a week to the job. Anyway as i said it appears the calendar has been updated, and i am sure the rules shouldn't be too far behind, but hey i guess then people will have to find something else to whinge about wont' they.

Agree 244 - Its a shame the wingers out way the ones offering ways to help. All clubs had their say to vote in the new team for AIDKA. Therefore they chose to remove the old president & so on. All clubs voted their delegates to represent them , yet they too complain they aren't happy with what they voted on or how their delegate communicates back to their club. Most race , few help out in any way. So its everyones fault is it , no they just blame AIDKA . Why not ask if there is anything someone can do to assist to help get the rules published. Perhaps someone in the know from AIDKA can offer an explaination to any hold up with the rules & perhaps together we can offer some assistance to help them . Just list the main points as to whats in & out for 2010 would be all that is needed for now , details can follow a little later. If those that bag them keep complaining , who would want to offer their time to the association in the future & then there will be lots of time to winge cause there will be no one racing. Come on AIDKA you are not alone , we are here to help if needed.

It's simple don't put your hand up if you can't do the job? If you did it quicker or actually on time there would be no whingers. People pay alot of money to AIDKA so the least they could do is get the rules out on time. Without the karts there is no AIDKA so all the officials can get off there high horses and actually start to promote the sport. We wouldn't whing if there was no problem. The only person who has been doing a good job since the last vote is the secretary well done to her everyone else take note especially the new track inspector follow her lead some tracks are still waiting on there licenses to track, poor job!!
