Sprint Car Racing is a sport that must be seen to be appreciated. Imagine twenty 850hp, open wheel racing cars sliding sideways, only inches apart at breakneck speeds. Yes, NASCAR racing is exciting, but how often do you see NASCARs pulling wheel stands? Ever wondered why Sprint Cars need to be started by push cars? This is because Sprint Cars don’t have starter motors. To start a Sprint Car the driver locks the car into gear and the push car then pushes the car until the engine is turning over, the driver can then turn on the ignition to fire the engine.
