That was very spectacular that night. It actually pulled down part of the safety fence and the spectators had to be shifted out of that stand to allow the conclusion of racing from what I can remember there was a couple of races left. As a testimony of the safety equipment Ryan was extracted from the car checked by the ambulance and cleared. He then walked at a brisk pace down to the other end of the track to enquire about the health of the driver that hit him (sic)
