Since it is starting at 7:30. How about 2 heats of 6 laps then a final of 8 to 10 laps depending on the time.

it was a great night of racing i wasnt racing myself i was an official for the night and for the final to happen ppl need to help each other with pushers and that was said at the drivers brief but still great racing on the track good to see lots of karts and supporters stayed till the end. Congrats to the place getters and everyone that competed.

I didn't race Saturday due to commitments with the sprint karts but observing the grid area from where sprint karts were set it appeared the lack of pushers caused issues again. I don't know how to address this maybe someone might have a few suggestions. It appeared karts were ready and drivers were mostly ready but it doesn't help if there is no one around to start them. It may also be a case of the format of racing be looked at for the speedway meetings karterdude had a good suggestion in a post in this forum, it may be a better option and should be discussed. But overall the night went off pretty well without a lot of problems

Pushers is easy... If you don't have 2 people behind your kart as the white flag for the race in progress drops, you get told to drag it off to the side and get yourself better organised next time!
I think it's pretty arrogant of people to sit in their kart with their hands in the air without having organised a couple of pushers in advance.. Usually it's the people that never push others that have this problem.

I agree to a certain degree but do we penalise the drivers who attend by themselves they pay their noms and as such are entitled to run. In th event of having smaller numbers at some meetings the same pushers have at times had to push more than one kart, which is not a good situation but does happen if we pulled karts out then that has the potential to greatly deplete fields. A lot of the smaller clubs at times don't have the numbers of people required to do the jobs. But having said that at the bigger meetings then the drivers should make an attempt to have sufficient crew there for their purposes, Totally agree with your last comments tom some people just expect everything to happen for them let them sit it out thats fair enough.

I totally agree with your tom and outlaw19 i have been getting ready to race myself and have had to push karts off i race a 125 so i don't need a pusher but i have a mate of mine who comes and helps me out at every meeting and he pushes so many off. My pit crew shouldn't have to do it for everyone ppl should be organized especial at the big meetings. And also thanks for your help with the sprint cars sat night outlaw19 even know on the second run i did give you much notice but all up the demonstration vehicles were great for the event.

pm me with your email address and I will send a pic of the sprint karts through to you. Your right they were slower than they can go. It was asked that they do not open race them and provide a demonstration only hence the speed restriction. Recently there was a private practice of these cars and in full flight they are really moving. Shortly I will be adding the specs and details of these sprint karts on this forum site and a contact point for the promoter of this class. It is hoped to gain support from AIDKA in helping to set up this class but there will be more to come in the near future
