I am currently preparing for the 2010 season and switching over to run in 125 Heavy from KT Heavy. I currently have two karts, one of which is going along with the two KT motors to fund the switch. However I have a 2005 Lightning extreme and a BRK Gambler and I don't know which one to keep or which to sell.
Does anyone have any ideas as to which one is better suited to 125 heavy?

You already have the two chassis to compare which one do to you like as far as set up and handling. I would go with the you consider has better characteristics

Since you are selling you can sell those chassis for about 1500 to 1800 each depending on the condition and a new extreme lightning chassis for example which is 3,200.00 could be brought then you have a new chassis as well a new motor. A standard KT new is 1,080.00 without all the engine porting so if you engines are ported both of them you are looking at about say 2500min. then a new leopard 125cc motor is about 2,900.00 this includes everything from engine mounts to the radiator so you if all the selling goes to planned and you get a good price for your engines. you could just buy everything new. For more prices on different engines see the Lightning Kart Webshop at: www.lightningkarts.com.au/index.php?select=77 for a full range of quality products.

You would be extremely lucky to get between $1500 to $1800 for a rolling chassis for those chassis. A more realistic estimate would be around the $900.00 for a roller. Both chassis you have set up well for dirt its personnel choice Lightnings make an excellent dirt chassis as do BRK and 125's work well on both. I would stay with the one you find easy to set up and find that its suits your driving style "Dudes" idea has some merit prices a little out but is a good option if you can sell all and start new

If you can't decide which chassis to run sell both and buy a benson, problem solved
