I personally thought the titles were a let down, the people that won deserved it but I would be surprised if they can win at club level. The title are all about luck, well good luck to all the winners so of you deserved other got lucky. Also to ALL you Western Australian driver learn to drive. Karts do have brakes they are on the left so use them. The next aussie titles will be demo derby.

So much crashing and bashing at the Title all for a black plate with a number 1 on it. Sometimes its not even worth going when you kart gets destroyed.

This reiterates what I have said previously in a different topic. Maybe it is time for a Driving Standards Stewart to address bad behavior and habits at race meetings especially at championships

:)Hope you all had fun lol. It would be good if somebody could post some results here instead of just bitching about the titles. If you had finished first you would not be posting these negative comments. I do agree though we should have track standards and only tracks that can promote good passing and driving should be awarded the titles. It's about time we come up with a track grading system; For example: A Grade can run anything B Grade can run State titles and club events and C grade can only run club meetings. For those tracks that want to run a title but cant due to there grading they can rent a B or A Grade track for the event. What do you think? Results from Lucindale also Please???

I thought the Titles were well done, Lucindale did a great job, and i don't personally beleive the track had anything to do with most of the incidents, maybe some drivers out there just need to learn how to drive and not bash and crash their way around. To all of the winners congratulations. Whether it be luck or good driving you got there.

Awsome weekend, if you dare come over to WA you better bring it!! Seriuosly thou, don't you think most karters are sick of the complaints when you don't win?? Racing is racing if you don't want to race stay at home and enjoy the playstation!!

Well done to all FAIR racers!well done Lucindale GREAT job!I d just like to say i was absolutely disgusted to hear my son say that he had heard one of the WA drivers say he was going to take out another driver . Well he did the JOB and then proceeded to take a bow in front of all other junior and senior competitors . You and your followers must feel very pleased with your selves. I hope your trophy came with a conscience. As far as I'm concerned AUSTRALIA stops on the SA border BUSSELTON where the fox hat!

WHAT A JOKE. To who ever it was that posted the first comment, think before you speak. You aim your comment at “all WA drivers” when in reality it was the minority of WA drivers crashing and bashing their way around. And if you were not so one eyed you would realize that the minority of SA drivers also do some pretty stupid and random things on the race track.
I am certain if you came over and experienced how we race you would notice that our meetings involve far less crashing and bashing then your meetings. Just ask some of the top competitors (the fairer ones) from SA that make the effort to race in WA every so often and see what they think.
Oh and your comment about brakes, where was the bloke from that tried to start a race with out a pedal? Stop your bitching.

I personally thought it was a great title and I cant wait to compete at the one in Busselton.

I am probably going to regret this but oh well.
WA has the best dirt kart track in all of Australia it is known as Dirt Trackers the facilities and track are 5 star. The grid is even bitchmen and under complete cover. Pits are A grade so if anyone says WA can't hold a Aus title they are wrong their tracks are top class most of them better than SA.
Can't say anything on their driving ability as haven't raced over their in a long time.

Ha Ha Australia stops at the SA border?? Next you will tell us you believe the world is flat!!!
Well done to the Lucindale Club for the great weekend. I thought it ran very well considering the closing in weather. Track was good despite a few bumps. I must say any issue with the track was sorted quickly. Huge fields, good racing, deserving winners.
Preparation and luck make up a National or State Title. Some have it some don't.
Good luck to Busselton in 2011. We are all looking forward to the event probably even the South Aussies. It will be even bigger and better than 2009.
All karters are welcome. If you think you are up to the task start making plans for the trip now.

To the guy who posted the first comment - your complaining about drivers rough driving and in the same sentence are you threatening to turn the next National Title into a Demo Derby? If so that’s not cool – if not then I disagree, WA Nationals in 2011 will be no worse then the 2009 one just held. Kart 7 - results have been posted on the AIDKA site already - well done AIDKA committee for being very efficient in posting those.
Did someone post a comment that some of the Title winners couldn't win a meeting on a club day? Could you explain this please? Why would they need to prove themselves by winning at club days when they can just do it at a national title?
Guest - I agree the titles were very well run, as with all these meetings there were a few problems but mostly dealt with very efficiently by the Club, the organisers and most importantly with the help of the drivers.
Mr X? Have you been to Busselton Kart Track? Busselton has as good a track, an Under Cover Concrete out grid (DTKC do not by the way) - full lighting facilities to run at night and they have a top committee of people to put together a sensational National Title in 2011. They will need to do a lot of work in the next 2 years but its typical of country clubs to be able to pull these Huge events off! I’m sure that the other WA members and clubs will band together to ensure that WA puts on the best AUSSIE title to date. Also I hope that DTKC will be considered for a national title in the near future – I hear that have some grand plans to improve there facilities and look forward to racing there soon.
Well done to Lucindale Kart Club – the facilities and meeting were an absolute credit to the people and sponsors involved. Well done to the drivers who took home the bacon – and sorry to those with the hard luck stories.
WA Rocks is right - start planning your trip over now. In fact, come over before the titles and have a run too. A win is not a win unless it’s against the best.

Well done Lucindale all the work you have done in the past two years after the announcement in 2007 we called past on the way home from Bordertown and i must admit we were all a bit worried whether or not you could pull it of but after the weekend what can i say but WOW it goes to show the a when a small community bands together they can achieve any thing even more than those tracks closer to the city you guys should be extremely proud of your achievements you have set the bar now ,and Busselton has a lot of work to do as did you but I am sure that they will rise to the occasion . The racing was hard and fast as it always is at the Aussi titles, and I must say a lot less bashing and crashing than most of the previous titles that I have been to in the past 12 years I know ive been on the receiving end enough times and costing me titles their was still a few drivers taking their agrow onto the track and others that think that their the only ones that have the rite to be their but luckily their few and far between and in most cases were dealt with by the stewards. To all those people bagging WA, SA, AIDKA, and other clubs thinking they know best I suggest you firstly take a long hard look in the mirror get of your backsides and be constructive instead of wining and remember their isn’t always someone to blame.
