the titles are called australian for a reason, whether who is vice pres of aidka he does not run the club the members do, Busselton is a very vibrant club that promotes dirt karting with excellent facilities. EVERY club in Australia deserves the right to hold this prestige event

EVERY club in Australia deserves the right to hold this prestige event Only if the track is up to scratch. Also WA havent had the title in a long time so they can have in in 2011 but for the next ten years it will be back in SA most likely. Really thought morgan was in for a chance after they stuffed up last time and gave it to lucindale.

I don't think the fact the vice-president is from WA has anything to do with the fact that the titles have gone there, i think that it may be the fact that it is only FAIR that other states hold a title this is a national sporting body not just south australian, and yes i am a south australian. Why should it be allocated to another south australian club, it needs to be on a rotational basis, WA also missed out last time if you remember so Morgan or any other club that put in for it this time will have to try again next time that is of course unless NT want to have a go. All south australian clubs need to stop being so parochial and remember that you are not the only state in this association. Having said that good luck to Busselton i hope they can pull it off, as i am sure they will.

I AM A SOUTH AUSTRALIAN , FOR THE GOOD OF THE SPORT , IT HAS TO BE CONDUCTED BY A WA CLUB , REMEMBER AIDKA , IS A NATIONAL BODY , NOT A STATE BODY .

I could have told everyone the title was going to WA before they had the vote. They haven't had it in ages so it is about time they got it.

Take a look at your self ‘sad’ because that is exactly what you are. Busselton has been a strong club for many years and this decision would have been made by AIDKA with or without the vice president of AIDKA coming from WA. Does the fact that 99% of AIDKA executive coming from SA mean that the last three title locations were also fixed (I think not). Over 70 WA karting members traveled to Lucindale this year to compete and it was not like traveling to the other side of the world. So maybe you should stop whining, pull your head out and support national karting events where ever they are held.

Ha Ha Ha, Sad is that you Jamie???
How about we support another WA for once. There is karting outside of DTKC despite what the club may think.

WA Rocks,, no it is not me, I use my own name when I post unlike your post and many others.
However, yes I am some what disappointed for our 230 odd members but I am extremely happy it is in WA, I am happy for WA drivers and some drivers that cant travel to be a part of a National title.
Now we need to get on with helping Busso make this a truely National event for all drivers.
Yours In Karting Jamie Thorpe DTKC - President
