First Class Display of Driving in the Junior Classes Strathalbyn attracted 124 Karts for the Junior/J Open Trophy Meeting held at the Angas Go Kart Club last Sunday.
Good Fields of Junior Lights with a total of 14 nominated for their annual Trophy Meeting with visiting driver from Lucindale Jake Tranter crossed the line in the first place, second went to Keaton Szack while Nathan Cowling from Adelaide picked up the chips for third place.
Junior Heavy driver Alysse English continued her winning form to beat the boys home to take first place. Another regular winner at Angas was Luke Waters in second place while Jordon Barrow from the Yorke Peninsula took home third.
In J Open Adelaide Joseph Caruso proved he could beat the locals on their home track taking first place, Scott Feder finished a strong second and Jack Wenham drove his kart over the line to take third place.
A good days racing was shown by our younger competitors, with the Australian Titles only two weeks away, to be held at Lucindale SA all drivers will be burning the candles late in their sheds getting their karts ready to complete and represent our Angas Go Kart Club well and hopefully ‘bring home the bacon’, so to speak.
Our next meeting will be held on Sunday October 18th.
