The 115 entries made for some great racing all day long.
Thanks to all the volunteers [Girls & guys ] that helped out on the day.
With out trying to mention them all, 4 areas did stand out on the day.
Thanks to the guys that jumped in to assist with the Scrutineering.
Thanks to Kenny & assistant Bill whom managed the grid area.
Kenny doing a top job [taking a break from the flags ] & also new
member Bill [ From B-Select Adrenalin racing team ] assisting & he
seems keen to help the club long term.
Thanks to Nancy whom had the club running on the computerized Quick grid
system, while also managing the lap scoring & while data entering &
while printing off the results. What a massive task.
Thanks to William whom is the clubs Race Starter & already seems very
much at home with this task. Only quite young, but has seen much racing in his time.
Behind the scenes there are many working dam hard on the day to make it happen.
Track still needing some settling in following the additional dirt bought in off season, some rain & some time should see the improvements needed.
Clubrooms very popular at the end of the day, with many staying on to
enjoy a cold drink [From Wayne the Bar man ] & a chance to sit & relax.
Just in time to watch the final few laps of the Grand Prix on the TV provided.
Adrian Schier takes out the overall winner for the Statesman's class in 2008.
The amended presentation took place to correct the placings given by mistake last year.
Adrian taking 1st ,by a reasonable aprox 120 points [ total was 890
points] , then Andy Wundenberg 2nd, then Glen Campbell taking 3rd.
Raffle [ Managed by Wendy ] was sold out in a flash ,
With Ben Brown being the winner.
Some great prizes are installed for this year, with most times a
choice of 3 prizes will be offered so you get a great choice.

accessories, a genuine FORD mens watch, a ladies watch, a signed Rick
& Tod Kelly plaque that contains a souvenir piece of race cars tyre,
