Just a Quick Tip!
I would suggest taking the back wheels out abit or moving the front wheels in so you don't drift up so high when you come out of the corners.

Well, I suggest that you use a little brake and throttle at the same time when taking corners. (The brake is used like a clutch) If you don't believe me, do as I did when I first started. Stand on the infield near a corner and watch the top drivers feet when they come into and exit a corner. Try it and let us know how you go dude? Good luck!

Thanks for the Advice Karterdude, I have just made major changes to the kart set up and have moved the back wheels in a long way. Almost got it right, it was driving so much better, but I still need to make some more changes this Sunday at the Strath Ed. day.
And thank you Mr. Expert Guest. I will try the braking method that you suggest on the weekend.
Overall I very happy with the result, it was my best finish and I'm hoping that with more track time and some minor kart tweaking I will be getting faster.

Ok, the Ed. day has happened, I made some minor changes by moving my front wheels in a bit, this helped a lot.
I also tried the brake and throttle at the same time while cornering, this was also a great help but more practice is required.
I'm looking forward to the next race to see if my changes and more track time have help me with lap times, I'm still going in the the big corners too hot, but I'm hoping with a little more track time I'm able to control myself a bit better.
Thanks everybody for all your advice and help.
