1. How Do I Get A Custom Avatar?
>>>If you get into your profile, choose modify profile and go down to Avatar URL. From there put in the URL of the image you want to use. If you are unsure of the image right click on its properties and copy the url from there. However it's recommended to best use an image-host like www.Photobucket.com to ensure your avatar doesn't disappear - and some hosts don't allow hot-linking.
[glow=red,2,300]----------------------------------------------------[/glow]
Example:
In the above example the URL is www.website.com/picture.jpg
The URL is what you would find on the picture properties - its exact address - which is what you need to put in for the avatar to work.
You can also as you see change the height and width of the picture to fix the dimensions in case your picture appears stretched out.

2. How Do I Get A Picture In My Signature?
>>>In the profile area, past the avatar url is a space for a signature. To put a picture there simply use the [ IMG ] tags with your picture url inbetween, an example would look like this:
[glow=red,2,300]----------------------------------------------------[/glow]
Example:
Again we use the URL to find the exact location of the picture intended to use. This is the same idea as for using the avatar, the hard part is correctly using the tags.

3. My signature/picture I posted is too big, what can I do?
>>>>If you have a big picture you want to use, but need to shrink it, you will need to add dimensions after the img part of the tag but before the closing part "]". For instance if you want to resize an image to 150 x 150, you would add this inside the img tag you already have:
width=150height=150 That is all there is to it. I will show you how it would look on your end (I am purposely going to mix up the letters m and g so it will say igm instead of img to avoid it trying to code what I am posting:
[igm width=150 height=150]www.website.com/picture.jpg[/igm]
This works for all pictures you post using the img tags. So anywhere that img tag is you can also specify what dimensions you want for the picture.

7. Do I Always Have to Log-in?
>>>No. If you don't want to have to log-in everytime you visit the site there is a log-in at the bottom of the main page that allows you to choose the duration that you are logged in. If you choose "forever" that will enable you to stay logged in...forever. What this will do is store a cookie in your computer to ensure your computer keeps you logged in when visiting the site. If this does not work then your level of security is either too high (can be modified in Internet Security Options) or your computer is not accepting cookies (which also can be enabled in the security area of your browser's preferences).
[glow=red,2,300]----------------------------------------------------[/glow]
Example:
Clicking on the login button with the setting 'Forever' chosen will ensure you do not have to login the next time you visit the site using the same browser (unless you clear your temporary internet files)

9. What are Bookmarks?
>>>Bookmarks are at the bottom of every thread. Nothing special about them but what they do is have a link to the thread in your profile under the "Bookmarks" area. This is useful in case you want to keep up to remember to check up on a thread or see if it has been updated recently (i.e. such as the Player Updates thread)

10. I am having problems registering and/or logging in
>>>Please see here.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When registering, be sure to use a valid e-mail (do not use AOL as members using AOL accounts rarely receive activation emails), as an e-mail check is required. If you don't receive an e-mail, do the following:
1. Check your spam/junk mail folders 2. If you still can't find one - e-mail me at: polishsoccer@gmail.com describing the problem you are having and your username.
Once you have found the e-mail: Open the email and just click the activation link, the process is pretty simple from there on in, just use the password that you setup when registering.
If you have any problems,PM me.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
>>>If you are having problems staying logged in, it is recommended you clear your cache and cookies. Follow these steps below:
Clearing Cache and Cookies:
Using Internet Explorer:
1. On the Internet Explorer 6 Tools menu, click Internet Options.
2. On the General tab, click the Delete Files button and the Delete Cookies button. That will clear both cache and cookies.
3. Close down the browser completely and try running it again. Sometimes it takes into affect after you reboot.
Using Firefox:
1. Select Tools from the top menu, and Options from the drop down list.
2. Click the Privacy button in the left (will be on top menu for newer versions) menu.
3. To clear your cookies, select Cookies from the Privacy list (or the Cookies tab for the newer version), and then click the Clear button.
4. To clear your cache, select Cache from the Privacy list (or the Cache tab for the new version), and then click the Clear button.

11. How come I never know when I receive a Private Message?
>>>This is likely due to your preferences not selecting the appropriate option. Go into your inbox (either through your profile or clicking the link from the Info Center for how many messages you have new or old) - or follow this link.
Once in your inbox, you should see an option that says 'Preferences' near the top. After clicking on that you should see two options for notification - one to be alerted by a pop up and one to be alerted by an email. Once you select the notification you want (you can select both) you will receive that type of notification next time you receive a private message.
However please note if you have a pop up blocker that it may cause you not to see the alert so you may want to disable popup blocking for the site or use the email notification. However for the email notification make sure that emails from the forum are not being sent into your spam (when registering you should have received an email from the forum automatically to confirm your email address - make sure it is not marked as spam).
