Hi, I found your form of kart racing and it looks like a lot of fun. I have a question about what I am seeing. I don't see plastic front bumpers that I expect to see. Why not?
Thank you

Plastic front bumpers (nosecones) were banned for a while from AIDKA racing, then allowed back in, but unless you take care mounting them, they are easily dislodged. There is a lot more contact in dirt karting than in bitumen karting, and i think a lot of people don't like using them as they can dislodge, or deform and drag on the track surface. Also you drift around the corners, and with some types of nosecone you can't take as tight an apex without the nosecone hitting the dirt bank on the inside of the corner. You obviously can't follow another kart as closely with a nosecone in place either..
I used to use one, simply because i don't like straightening out the front bar of my kart on a regular basis.
