Just read the prospectus for the 2012 SA Titles. Nice work Morgan. Really like your animated graphics It was all going really well until I got to the end.... ....and then it got better...Roast, seasoned vegies and topped off with Apple Crumble and ice cream. Well done...

Just checked out the nominations for the 2012 SA Titles on the AIDKA website and currently 58 if I counted correctly.
Looks like the usual last minute rush for the nominations to arrive by the closing date.

Good point. The new qualification requirement will definitely be impacting on the nominations. Hopefully everybody that wants to compete can manage to complete enough race events to qualify and have time to nominate.

its good to see morgan got great numbers for the title this year and i believe that the 6 meeting rule helps other clubs out as well cos ppl travel to visit them.

Good point in relation to the positive "spin off" of the 6 meeting rule encouraging people to travel to other clubs.

Hi Tom, Not sure if you checked out the Result Sheets as the link on the front page is only for the Point Sheets. Results Sheets are under the Result page www.aidka.com.au/images/results/2012%20SA%20Title%20-%20Result%20Sheets.pdfMy following feedback isn't in any means intended to be negative in relation to the Stewards but something I think could be given some consideration for the future. In reviewing the results there are quite a number of relatively high Penalty Points (my opinion) such as -10 for example. If a driver is found quilty of a serious breach of the Rules of Racing then by all means they should be penalised accordingly but there are quite a few instances of -10 deductions. I would just like to suggest that with the 20 point system relatively high Penalty Points such as -10 can effectively place the driver in concern out of any contention. If the offences are for general driver infringements such as shunting or whatever then I would suggest a few points penalty would be sufficient to effectively negate any benefit gained. Although there is a footnote in the penalty section... Note: The Penalties in the Guide are only suggested penalties therefore harsher or leaner penalties may be imposed depending on the situation. ...the recommended penalties are mostly up to 5 points with the most serious being an illegal motor or fuel being 7 points. The majority of racing incidents are generally shunting and it is recommended as 4 or 5 points. Just something I think is worth mentioning for consideration.
