Hi there everyone,
I am new to dirt karting and i am looking to setup my own kart team.
What chassis do people use and what positives and negatives do you have about each?
Any other info would be great thanks.

There are many different frames around. The most popular ones are Browns (BRK) or lightnings. You have also got the undiscovered ones like MS and Omegas. Browns are light and fast but you can feel everything underneath it. MS are heavy and tough and dont slow down even when you are in the rough. People are excellent. Lightnings are good allround and the people there are excellent. Omegas I havent tried but they are pretty competitive. Good luck with your team let us know how its going.

Go to the club where you will be racing, and look at what chassis is fast in the class you are wishing to race.
The positives with using proven equipment is that you can copy set-up to get to the front faster. It isn't easy to set-up a chassis, and takes a lot of time and money to get it right.
If you find someone with the same physical build as you, that is winning races at big meetings, your best bet is to start with the same equipment, then fine tune from there.
Have a look at the people that win big meetings, they have either been racing for decades, or have access to the same information.
It is important to have good customer service from someone that knows your track and has results on the board in the class you are wishing to race also.
