KT HEAVY TROPHY DAY
With the day starting with several fine showers and the track ready to race it was going to be touch and go if any of the finals could be completed. With the enthusiastic racers arriving to race and a large shower coming with only 3 races into the meeting a lot of work was needed to bring back the track ready to race.
The KT Heavy’s Trophy Day was able to at least finish with the KT Heavy’s completing their final with the starting line up having many drivers on the same points and only separated by a count back for starting positions. So with the drivers unable to rely on their heat points to help them for the finals it was going to be finishing positions was going to determine the final trophy places. Darren Brealey was able to finish strong with claiming the 3rd place trophy with Brett Woodifield after having a brief period leading finished 2nd on the day and Michael Kielly on his comeback at Adelaide after a huge roll over a couple of meetings ago finished on top of the podium with a great drive under testing conditions.
With some great racing on hand over the day by all classes it was certainly a great effort by all the volunteers and drivers that worked hard under the testing situation to bring back the track to a suitable racing condition may times over the day. Well done to all involved.
For all the ADKC drivers going to the State title we wish you all the best and will see you next race meeting for the KT Light Challenge on the 22nd of May.

Atleast we got 4 heats in, gave me some greatly needed practice on a wet track. Well done to all involved, unfortunate about the rain but who could stop that.
Also thanks to Adam for always packing the track!
