Does anyone know the correct policy for the use of AIDKA registered tracks for non AIDKA sanctioned practice. A recent AIDKA meeting brought it up that they could not be used.

That seems to be a bit of a grey area.. My understanding is that for non-AIDKA use the track is free to be used as the track owners desire. The AIDKA argument is that as they have issued a safety clearance for the track they can still be held accountable regardless of the timing of the use of the track. I know the AKA got successfully taken to court to allow some of their member tracks to lease the tracks to other organising bodies.
I would have thought it would make sense for AIDKA to negotiate with all interests that their liability is strictly limited to club's AIDKA calender dates, and let clubs do what they want the rest of the time.
Best course of action is approach AIDKA for an official statement through your club, perhaps look up what the AKA clubs did and mention this as a course of action if AIDKA won't consider the response you are looking for.
Just make it very clear that it is a NON-AIDKA event/practice you are promoting and i can't see the problem..
