hey guys, about to buy a new 100, wondering what people thoughts and experiences are with either the Watercooled TM or watercooled Parilla? which is most reliable and makes most power when built? cheers, David

It's a bit hard to say on this one, as far as the rulebook goes, you need to be using a CiK homologated 100cc engine. I haven't seen that rule enforced yet, so assuming you can modify the engines away from CiK specs, then it depends on what mods have been done to the motor. If you stick to the rules, the TM and IAME make virtually the same power, and at major events on the bitumen, both have won at various times.
For me it would come down to whoever you are getting to build your engines, and asking them what they are most comfortable with.
It's a pity AIDKA have stuffed the rules for 100cc open, but they are still great motors to drive and i'm sure you'll have a blast in either the TM or the IAME.

Thanks mate, the more i have been reading up on it the more they seem very similar, but i think the TM will be my pick as everyone i know has IAME these days, im finding it hard to find somewhere to buy one though, i have been onto a couple of places, but struggling to get responses, i need a motor before christmas as it will be my only time to get it together before the adelaide nationals.
cheers again, David
