WOW!!!
Some of you guys need to stop crying over spilt milk and get out side and work on your karts. Complaining isn't going to help your performance.
Hope it was a great meeting and the extra $5 nomination fee didn't mean you missed out on your lunch.

Not sure what all the fuss is about. The transponders were great, gave an insight into the other competitors times and added some interest and bragging rights between mates on who is faster. The transponders didn't effect the meeting.... it was just a shame that after what had been a great consistent track all day which provided some great racing it was ruined for the finals by dumping a heap of water on a slick track. Why decide to do that after it had been consistent all day for all classes. Really didn't give racing a chance for the 8 lap finals. It was a real credit to the club up until that point.
But only my opinion.

What annoyed me was the fact that the club said in there update on there website was that they absorbed the cost but the didn't had nothing against paying $5 extra dollars as I wouldn't have minded. They were great by the way just went about wrong with the promoting them.

Re kart 84 comment about a race having water dumped on the track for the final , i understand him being upset a bit by this incident , i am a driver & i hate over wet tracks , but i wish to remind him or any others, there were over 65 races on that track , with track maitence getting it right 64 times , part of the reason for this situation was that the old truck was used very few times over the day & poor bob who juggled who got water to share it around on the day & with the old truck you have to get it just right or it can flood the track, and in this incident was the case . Look at the overall picture one person , bob waters drives the grader & the water truck all day & presented a track that had 140 odd karts on it , who got 4 heats plus a 8 lap final & finished @ 5.15 pm a reasonable time for everyone , also the timing records prove over the day times for all classes were consistanly the same , proving the track was presented consisantly all day except for one occasion .We should be acknowledging bob waters efforts not having a go at one minor issue .

I wasn't at the event but regardless of the track condition some drivers (suggest a minority) appear to forget that the majority if not all of the people that make the event possible are VOLUNTEERS.
I fully endorse the comments of Neville in that the VOLUNTEERS should be congratulated and thanked for their efforts not knocked.
To ALL the VOLUNTEERS out there at ALL Clubs, keep up the excellent work you do as I am sure the majority of competitors do appreciate what you are doing for the sport.
