Quarter Midgets have a major following in Western Australia, New South Wales and Victoria. They did have a following in South Australia running the 2007 Australian Championships at Gillman. Benson's manufactured a Quarter Midget chassis. I don't know if they still run in SA but I have been in contact with various people with the aim of running at some venues if enough cars are still here. If I can generate enough interest I will then be taking my proposals to various Speedway Tracks and NASR. They should not be confused with Junior Quarter Midgets which have a national class
