A huge thanks to Ray, Adrian, Leo, Ian, & Wayne whom did a perfect job Sat & Sunday to get us racing .
Many forget these guys have worked extremely hard during the weekends previously to only be beaten by the weather at the end of Saturdays, to see the 2 meetings previously cancelled, hence the big effort to win this time.
Thanks to Dwayne & Mary whom kept reassuring everybody , & thanks to the flaggies, lapscorers, grid girls, canteen crew & many helpers & to all the 125 drivers that stayed on the day, that also ensured the Club wasn't to be beaten 3rd time round by some bad weather.
Well done to Joseph Caruso & Bradley Dalwood whom took out the Juniors Trophies No 1's .
Terrific driving by the dozen Rookies whom seemed to have a great time chasing down each other & getting in some great experience for their future racing.
I think they don't always grid up well, as one time it took about 10 laps to get a start, but perhaps these kids are just too busy having fun to be too concerned about the actual race.
Congratulations to the Adelaide Club whom shouted all rookies a free drink , & a free chocolate bar or chips, plus a trophy, plus a special extra gift to those that stayed for presentation.
The Club also gave all Juniors that stayed a special gift.
It was good to see the youngsters with a huge smile, at Adelaide there's only winners.
The wheel raffle was completed, thanks to the raffle girls on the day & the lucky winner was none other than ""Rowe"" .
Thanks to everyone for buying a ticket or 2, the club will put the $$$$ to great use into the facilities & after all a set of Ross Edwards wheels is a great prize.
Soon we hope to start the next major raffle prize which is for a set of Car tyres up to value of $400, now who couldn't need that one.
Limited to 300 tickets should sell quickly.
