Are the lights alright now after they stopped working after 3 rounds?

Yep, the lights weren't the problem all along, we hire a huge generator to run them from a well known Adelaide hire company at $300 per night race meeting, and it began to break down, the voltage was surging ... that was the problem. We have been assured by them that it wont happen again but we had to call it off for safety reasons, obviously if they totally went out during a race it would have been carnage and I'm sure we would have been held responsible. So we did what we had to do. All trophies were handed out as usual, and all drivers seemed happy with our decision.

Thats good then. Lucky the light didn't go out when people were racing that would have been carnage.
You did the right thing in my opinion.
