Not that many people actually race at both tracks every meeting.... Probably would only effect 10 people in regard to end of year points.

Well Done KT Trophy Day July 11th The Kt Trophy Meeting, started with a massive rain storm & wild winds on the early hours of Saturday. The track was well prepared in the days prior, being graded & well rolled to ensure the rain would do little damage & run off. The Track Maintenance guys got it spot on, & despite the storms the track said not this time do we need to cancel. The meeting was extremely well run, running on time & still keeping that friendly country feel. The drivers came [ all 123 ] & although a few spots of rain continued at the start, spirits were high as the track was looking great. The Kt drivers hammered it all day, but it remained in top smooth condition right to the end. [ A real credit to the team ] KT Light saw Lisa Walker out class the guys, with Joel Heindrich coming 2nd to Mathew Kennedy bringing home 3rd. KT Med saw the experienced Ben Brown shine thru the clouds in taking 1st place, followed by Rhys Hackett, then Jack Whenam a clear 3rd. Kt Heavy saw the slightly larger “”Big Fellas”” battle it out, with Wade Hackett showing the way to take 1st, Joshua Mitchellmore the 2nd & Dad Trever Mitchelmore bringing in the 3rd overall despite starting the final in 1st place at the green flag . Better luck next time Trev, But if all else fails you had best leave Joshes plug out when you oil the chain for him next time. { Sorry if any names are spent incorrect} Drivers stayed back, following the usually early finish, to enjoy a cold drink & congratulate the winners . Also a chance to see the continuing work being done around the clubroom's. The area is long from being finished & that’s why the painting & tidying will come at the very end, but for now its all about constructing & going forward, with all the approvals to turn into more verandahs & shelters . The ladys are getting excited, as the canteens complete update is to kick off hard shortly as the final layout & plans get their final approvals, ready for the demolishion & reconstruction to get underway. Raffle for the Helmet was won by the Vidau Family [ Thanks to sponsor & kind donation from Allen Dungey of Fleurieu Trading, for all your off road Motor bike & Quads]. Can’t have too many toys. Current raffle is for a $100 Voucher from Brentin Applin of ‘Tools 2 U’ Brentin is always track side with the mobile tool store, so no excusses to not have the right tool for the job. All is looking great for the club, thanks to its great member, sponsors & atmosphere. www.angasgokartclub.com.au

I believe it was cause the trackwas a little wet from the drizzle just before the briefing , so the club decided to put a race in 1st , before the trophy classes raced. Good Call I'm sure the same thinking would be applied to give the trophy classes on the day the best.
