KT Twin or 125cc?
Wanting to move up a class from my normal KT Med and Light.
Which one will give me less headaches? Which is more difficult to get the setup right?
I see alot of 125 drivers stuck on the start grid because their electrics wont work, but dont know if the hassle of maintaining twin engines and keeping them in time etc will cancel that out?
Dont want to be forever fixing and replacing parts. Just want to go racing!
Any thoughts or advice?
and which is faster!

If you buy a good 125cc motor, 125s are the way to go regarding headaches.
Kt twin need motors built roughly the same, and chew through the tyres on many tracks.
Having said that, I believe Kt twins are considerably more power. 125's average around 26-28 hp, while twins are in the high 30's.

before you make a decision speak to the Buford's at lightning karts about the new 125cc twins which are being developed. It appears from the information I have obtained it is the intention for these to take over from the KT Twins. This information is obtained direct from AIDKA and is to be discussed at the November Executive meeting. I would not commit myself to a KT twin until after a decision is made

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you** Oval Track The Place To Be**
